JOOLS CHAFFER: LEGS ONLY AND LEANNE’S ABDOMINAL SUPERSET SESSION!
Jools and Leanne met for another session which consisted of Legs only and Leanne’s Abdominal Superset session! Oh and don’t forget another of Leanne’s favourites which is the 5 min maximal effort on the rower….which Leanne has been known to join Jools 😉
Once Jools completed his 5 mins cardiovascular warm up on the Xtrainer and a warm up stretching session (which is compulsory in Leanne’s sessions) then he completed 1300m in 5 mins on the rower. His personal best so far! Way to go Mr Chaffer! Then he had the legs workout to complete which consisted of 12 sets of Squats, Leg Press, Leg Extensions and Leg Adductor exercises. Jools has been building his fitness foundation since he started training with Leanne and this was his time to ‘give it some’. Leanne fully believed in injury prevention and the importance of a basic cardiovascular and muscular fitness base and therefore includes progressive overload into his training programme. So NOW is the time for Jools to REALLY push his boundaries and become the best version of himself that he can be!
Next is Leanne’s Abdominal Superset……6 sets of 12 repetitions of continuous, progressive, slow abdominal crunches. Jools can really feel the benefit as well as the plank set that Leanne has designed for him. So if you thought Jools Abs look good now…….watch this space!
